For those looking for a more natural look, I now offer lifestyle newborn sessions which are all about capturing your beautiful family, just as you are. Your bond and your joy with your new little love shines through authentically without extra props or lighting. These relaxed, loving sessions take place in the comfort of your home for your choice of one or two hours.
My lifestyle sessions include a consultation, the session at your home, customized culling and editing of your images, an online viewing gallery with a slideshow set to music, all of your fully edited high resolution digital files and a print credit to your personalized online store to ensure your images make it off of your screen and into your home.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are a beautiful, natural way to capture your joy with your new Little Love. However, if my more elaborate newborn poses like the dream catcher or moon make your heart sing, then you will definitely want to consider my Studio Newborn sessions instead.
STEP ONE: SCHEDULING YOUR SESSION
In order to reserve a date, you'll need to sign some paperwork and fill out a quick questionnaire . Then, if we haven't already, call or e-mail me with a few dates that work for your family.
STEP TWO: THE SESSION ITSELF
​Once you're officially on the books I'll send you a getting ready guide that will walk you through everything from choosing outfits to strategies for getting kids to cooperate. While the guide will help with some of your questions, if you'd like to discuss anything at all I'm only a text, call or e-mail away!

A few days before our session is scheduled, I'll reach out to confirm our time and location... at that point, if the forecast is questionable or someone seems to be coming down with something we can talk about our rescheduling options. Otherwise, that's the perfect time to ask any last-minute questions or let me know if you've come up with a fun idea we haven't discussed.
I'll email your invoice after your session is complete. There is no fee for rescheduling, however there is a $50 fee if you cancel within 48 hours of your session and do not reschedule.

The day of the session, please block off a little extra time. Even though my session costs are based on time I like to stay flexible and leave a little wiggle room in case there's some kind of wardrobe malfunction or sibling meltdown. If a family member has to leave early but the rest of the family is available, that's fine... just let me know ahead of time so I can focus on getting them in the time frame while they're still available.

Finally, take a breath and relax... I promise to give the little ones (and grown-ups!) breaks throughout the session as needed, and to make it as fun as possible for everyone involved. If it would ease tensions to serve mimosas with breakfast - I say go for it!
STEP THREE: THE FUN PART!
Within two weeks of your session, you'll receive an email from me with a link to your slideshow and gallery! After that, you'll have a full month to download all of your digital files and use your gift certificate to print your images.
What you're going to do with your images is an important aspect to consider when you're planning for a photography session, but it's all too often an aspect that's overlooked. After all the time and energy you've invested into your photography session, your images deserve to be created into something tangible. You'll never get the same feeling looking at your images on your screen as you will holding them in your hands, so I include a gift certificate to your shop with every session.
